SCOPE OF SERVICES, is amended to include additional engineering for the Cole Park Erosion Control Assessment. ■ In the original contract, Section IV. FEES shall be modified as shown on the attached Exhibit "A -1" for a revised fee not to exceed $6,200.00 Six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed $245,800.00 (Two Hundred Forty, -Five Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents) All other terms and conditions of the March 23, 2010 contract and amendments between the City and Consultant will remain in full force and effect. This Proposal is based on our understanding of the Scope of Work discussed in our meeting with Engineering. Services last Evmk and our recent phone conversations. Our Engineering Scope of Work will generally include the following. A..lEC Architects and our Engincering Consultants shall perform a visual survey cif the erosion issues along Cole. Park Shoreline in the worst case areas immediately North and South of the Fishing bier. B. With this field data, we will provide Engineering Services with a written Assessment Report of the current erosion. conditicrrts which will include t-�vo (2) Viable Options for the restoration of the shoreline with an Opinion of Probable Cast for each Option. Also included will be site condition photographs and two (2) preliminary cross section drawings of proposed restoration Options. C. This Assessment Report and Opinion of Costs will be limited to the worst case areas of erosion immediately North (+/- 300') and Souff'r (tl-• 200') of the Cale }?etrk Pier. JEC, Inc. will provide for all necessary meetings with the Parks Department and Engineering to keep all parties informed during the progress of this Assessment and Report. E. JEC, Inc. will provide for meetings with the Corps of Engineers, local office, to determine the possibility of a Corps Permit for this restoration, Payment of any Corps related permit fees will not be within this Scope of Work. If the Corps should require a permit for this restoration, the permit application documentation will be executed by our firm within the Scope of the Design Phase following this Assessment Report. JEC Architects, Inc. will provide these above outlined services for a lump sum fee of $6,200,00, as an Amendment to our current Professional Services agreement for Cole Park Renovations, Project No, 3384.
