HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2011-148 - 4/29/2011 - NAAMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY ", and MAVERICK ENGINEERING hereinafter called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for Improvements Group 2 (BOND 2008) (Project No. E09051), as authorized and amended by: L Original Contract I November 17 2009 1 Motion No 2009 -325 1 $353;608,00 In the original contract, Section II, SCOPE OF SERVICES shall be amended to provide additional services through five additional tasks to include completing a topographical survey of the existing bus stops, sidewalks, and ADA ramps on Staples from Leopard to Lipan, as well as other services as shown in the attached Exhibit "A," ■ In the original contract, Section IV. FEES shall be modified as shown on the attached Exhibit "A" for a revised fee not to exceed $42,914.00 (Forty-Two Thousand Nine Hundred Fourteen Dollars and Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed .$396,522.00 (Three Hundred Ninety -Six Thousand Five Hundred Twenty -Two Dollars and Zero Cents) All other terms and conditions of the contract and amendments between the City and Consultantwill remain in full force and effect. The additional scope of services and corresponding fees are shown below: Scope of Services: 1. Complete a topographical survey of the existing bus stops, sidewalks, and ADA ramps on Staples from Leopard to Lipan, including striping. 2. Modify construction drawings to include: a. The proposed pedestrian signals and crosswalks at: i. Leopard and Staples ii. Lipan and Staples iii. Medina and Staples (RTA Transfer Station) b. A proposed bus stop at Ram Rankin and Leopard (inbound) c. A proposed bus stop at Mexico and Leopard (outbound) 3. Modify contract documents for the proposed ADA improvements listed above as items 2a-c. 4. Provide the hardscape architectural design for the bus stops listed above as items 2b and 2c. 5. Provide pedestrian crossing signals including synchronization with traffic signals listed above as item 2a.
