HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2011-264 - 7/11/2011 - NAAMENDMENT NO. 3 TO CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY ", and FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. hereinafter called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for Packery Channel, Phase 2 -- Parking and Overlooks (Project No. 3400), as authorized and amended by: Original Contract February 10, 2009 Motion No. 2009 -029 $152,806.00 Amendment No. 1 March 16, 2009 Administrative Approval $13,211.00 Amendment No. 2 February 3, 2010 Administrative Approval $12,116.00 In the original contract, Exhibit "A ", Section 1. Scope of Services, Part A. Basic Services, Item No. 2 Design Phase Services shall be modified to include the addition of the following scope as shown on the attached Exhibit "A ". In the original contract, Exhibit "A ", SECTION 3. FEES shall be modified as shown on the attached Exhibit "B" for a total fee not to exceed $12,812.00 (Twelve _Thousand Eight Hundred Twelve Dollars and Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed $190,945.00 (One Hundred Ninety„ Thousand Nine Hundred Forty Five Dollars and Zero Cents). Christi Project No. 3400 Dear Mr. Anaya, Enclosed please find a copy of our draft Amendment No. 3 for professional services for the Packery Channel — Phase 2 project ( #3400). This amendment includes the coordination with AEP to determine the implications and remdedy for improperly installed lighting conduit in Phase 1 of the Packery Channel Project, revisions to the lighted bollard design, and integration of the URS Engineering construction package for the Packery Channel Revetment Repairs into the Parking and Overlooks construction documents. The amendment request for this effort is $12,812.00. Please note that our current contract includes Basic Services in the amount of $146,549.00 and Additional Services of $31,584.00 for a total professional services fee of $178,133.00. This Amendment includes Basic Services activities in the amount of $12,812.00 for at total restated fee of $190,945.00. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this matter.
