This Memorandum of Leases is made this day of , 2011, by and
between the CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS ( "City" ), a Texas home rule
municipal corporation, and PADRE ISLAND YACHT CLUB ( "Lessee "), a non - profit
corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Texas.
1. On the terms and conditions of that certain Lease Agreement (the ° Lease ") dated
and effective a h6r 23, 2011, between the City and Lessee, the City leased to
Lessee the land described on Exhibit "A" attached to this memorandum of lease and
made a part of this memorandum, together with certain improvements now existing or
to be constructed on the land.
2. The primary term of the Lease is approximately 14 years, the Lease being an early
renewal and extension of an existing 10 year lease, which commenced on July 11,
2005. Lessee has the option to extend the term of this Lease for a period of 10 years.
4. The purpose of this Memorandum is to give public notice of the existence of the
Lease. In the event, however, of any inconsistency between this Memorandum and the
terms and conditions of the Lease, as the case may be, the Lease shall prevail.
5. This Memorandum may be executed in any number of counterparts. If so executed,
the signature pages of the various counterparts, when taken together, shall constitute
one and the same instrument.
IN WITNESS HEREOF, the parties have executed this Memorandum of Leases,
through their duly authorized representatives, as of the day, month, and year first above
written.
