TO THE
HPRP GRANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
COASTAL BEND CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING
This second amendment ( "Second Amendment') is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ( "City ") and the Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living, Inc.
( "Subrecipient ").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement which was approved
by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's federal FY09 -10 Homeless
Prevention and Rapid Re- housing Program grant funds ( "Agreement')
WHEREAS, the Agreement was to terminate February 28, 2011;
WHEREAS, the parties executed an initial amendment ( "First Amendment") to the
Agreement in order to extend the term to August 31, 2011;
WHEREAS, the parties to the Agreement desire to execute this Second Amendment to
further extend the term of the Agreement by six months, which extension is necessary
for the Subrecipient to accomplish the purposes and activities outlined in the
Agreement.
Section 1. Section 2 of the Agreement is deleted and replaced with the following
language:
"2. CONTRACT TERM. The term of this Agreement shall run from final
execution of the Agreement by the parties until February 28, 2012. All
services performed by Subrecipient under this Agreement shall be per-
formed within the dates of this term and within the dates of any amend-
ment to this Agreement in order to be reimbursable by City."
Section 2. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to amend the
Agreement and First Amendment in order to extend the term stated in the Agreement.
All other language, terms and conditions of the Agreement and First Amendment not
changed by this Second Amendment remain the same and in full force and effect.
