TO CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY ", and JEC ARCHITECTS, INC.
hereinafter called "CONSULTANT ", agree to the following amendment to the Contract for
Professional Services for Hike & Bike Trail Cily Wide Project No. 3381) as authorized and
administratively amended by:
I Original Small A/E Contract I July 11, 2011 I Administrative Approval I $39,800.00
➢ In the original contract, Section 2. SCOPE OF WORK shall be modified by the addition of the
following scope: Sco a of Work is revised to include additional To o ra hic Surve
Services asspecified in Exhibit "A ".
➢ Summary of Fees is amended as described in the attached Exhibit "E" revised fee not to exceed
$4.575.00 (Four Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents) for a total
restated fee not to exceed $44,375.00 Fo -Four Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Five
Dollars and Zero Cents)
All other terms and conditions of the Contract and Amendments between the City and Consultant
will remain in full force and effect.

Project No, 3381- .Amendment
Dear Mr. Biles:
JEC Architects respectfully requests an amendment to our "Contract for Professional Services"
for an increase in fees in the amount of $4,,575,00, due to previous additional Survey Scope of
Work. This previous Survey Work was associated with the original Scope of Work earlier this
year in February. This included topographic field work from Cedar Pass up to Saratoga Blvd.
Since then the Scope of Work was revised and the project was restarted to begin the Hike &.Bike
Trail at Yorktown Blvd. and then proceed North toward Saratoga. This Survey work was
performed by Capnor, USA and paid for by JEC Architects. J:EC Architects did bill for this
work back on March 2, 2011 and the invoice was paid by the City on March 24, 2011.
Therefore, to document the actual history of this project for City Accounts, Payable, we are
requesting this amendment to our current contract dated July 18, 2011. We reiterate that we have
been paid by the City for this work; therefore this amendment will simply document this issue to
cle,u up Accounts Payable for Ms. Ruth Brown.

JEC Architects has included within, a revised Amended Exhibit "D" for your review and
approval to document this work. The revised Amended Fees will now total $44, 375.00. This
Exhibit does not reflect any invoices toward this project for clarity of total Fee Structure,
