HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2011-459 - 11/29/2011 - NACITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI AMENDMENT NO. 2 CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "CITY," and RVE, INC. hereinafter called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for Williams Drive Phase 1 — Rodd Field to Nile Drive Project No. 6466 as authorized and administratively amended by: Original Contract May 18, 2010 1 Motion No. M2010 -116 $974,190.00 Amendment No. 1 December 4, 2010 1 Administrative Approval $10,000.00 EXHIBIT A, SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, PART A. BASIC SERVICES shall be modified as shown below. 2. Design Phase: The Original Contract, as amended, shall be revised to include the following: RVE shall design approximately 2,700 linear feet of 16" reuse forcemain to be located down the middle of Williams Drive from Rodd Field Road to approximately 700 feet northwest of Nile Drive. The 16" forcemain will connect on either end to a 16" forcemain designed by Urban Engineering (City Project No. E10135). The Williams Drive Phase 1 plans and contract documents shall be modified to include the 16" forcemain. RVE shall modify the Williams Drive Phase 1 plans and contract documents to separate the Williams Ditch improvements from the Williams Drive street improvements and create a separate set of construction plans and contract documents for the ditch improvements, excluding bridge improvements at Lexington Road and Ennis Joslin Road. The City staff will: d. Provide topographic surveys, design plans, specifications and details by Urban Engineering from City Project No. E10135. e. Provide topographic survey by Naismith Engineering from the intersection of Williams Drive & Nile Drive along Williams Drive to a point approximately 800 feet northwest. f. Assist coordination efforts, as necessary, with Urban Engineering and Naismith Engineering. EXHIBIT A, SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, PART B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES shall be modified as shown below. 3. Topographic Survey and Parcel Descriptions: The Original Contract, as amended, shall be revised to include the following: RVE shall perform additional topographic survey work necessary to verify and add to, if necessary, the topographic information received from Urban Engineering and Naismith Engineering to be used in the design of the 16" reuse forcemain. SUMMARY OF FEES shall be modified by the attached Summary of Fees as shown in the attached Exhibit A for an additional fee not to exceed $46,290.00 (in figures) Forty Six Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Dollars and Zero Cents (in words) for a total restated fee not to exceed $1,030,480.00 (in figures) One Million Thirty Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Dollars and Zero Cents (in words). All other terms and conditions of the May 18, 2010 contract between the City and Engineer and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect.
