Project Description: The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "City ", and LNV Inc., hereinafter called "Engineer", agree to the following Contract Amendment for Engineering and Consulting Services to provide Additional Services to the City of Corpus Christi for: • Construction Observation Services for the full duration (34 weeks) of the Resaca Lift Station Upgrade 2009 project at 20 hrslweek. a The original contract and Amendment No.1 provided 20 hrslweek for up to 18 weeks at $72 per hour (total fee of $25,920.00). o This amendment includes increasing the project duration to 34 weeks (additional 16 weeks) at 20 hrslweek and revises the rate to $100 per hour (total fee of $68,000.00). o The additional construction time is required because a number of improvements which are now included in the bid package were not included in the original contract nor any previous amendments. These include the perimeter flood wall with foundation improvements and the monorail crane system with foundation improvements. The fee will be full and total compensation for services and for all expenses incurred in performing these services. Engineer will submit monthly statements for basic services rendered. Each statement will be based on the project percent completion at the time of billing. City will make prompt monthly payments in response to Engineer's monthly statements. B. Summary of Fees. All other terms and conditions of the July 21, 2009 contract and amendments between the City and Consultant will remain in full force and effect. AMD.
