City Engineer retains the right to approve all subcontractors that will perform work on the Project. The Contractor shall obtain written approval by the City Engineer of all of its subcontractors prior to beginning work on the Project. If the City Engineer does not approve all proposed subcontractors, it may rescind the Contract award. In the event that'a subcontractor previously listed and approved is sought to be substituted for or replaced during the term of the Contract, then the City Engineer retains the. right to approve any substitute or replacement subcontractor prior to its participation in the Project. Such approval will not be given if the replacement of the subcontractor will result in an increase in the Contract price. Failure of the Contractor to comply with this provision constitutes a basis upon which to annul the Contract pursuant to Section B -7 -13; 7. A preliminary progress schedule indicating relationships between the major components of the work. The final progress schedule must be submitted to the City Engineer at the pre - construction conference; 8.
