MARINA SLIP RENTAL CONTRACT
This Amendment to the Marina Slip Rental Contract (Rental Contract") is made by the
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, a municipal corporation and political subdivision of the
State of Texas, hereinafter referred to as "CITY," and Yachting Center of Corpus
Christi, LLC , hereinafter referred to as "Yachting Center"
Whereas, the parties previously entered into the Rental Contract approved by City
Council on December 9, 2008, under Ordinance No. 027969 which authorized Marina
Slip Rental Contract for fifteen boat slips on the Peoples Street T -Head for fourteen
years, six months term;
Whereas, the Agreement was amended on May 12, 2009 under Ordinance No. 02 815 1;
Whereas, the parties desire to amend the Rental Contract to reduce the number of boat
slips under the Rental Contract, from fifteen to ten boat slips;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE TO AMEND THE RENTAL
CONTRACT AS FOLLOWS:
1) The Marina Space Rental Contract is amended to remove Boat slips No. 70,
71, 72 from the Rental Contract, so that the new area to be rented under the
Marina Slip Rental Contract starts at Boat Slip No.73 eastward, terminating at
west bulkhead, for a new total of twelve (12) boat slips on the Peoples Street
T -Head.
2) All other terms and conditions of the previously executed Agreement
between the parties as previously amended, which are not inconsistent
herewith, shall continue in full force and effect.
3) This Amendment takes effect on the date of last signature.
