TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
COASTAL BEND CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING
This second amendment ( "Second Amendment") is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ( "City ") and Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living, Inc.
( "Subrecipient ").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ( "Agreement "),
which was approved by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY2010-
11 Community Development Block Grant ( "CDBG ") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the parties subsequently executed an amendment to the Agreement which
modified the project scope, and extended the compliance and term dates ( "First
Amendment "), therein providing further time for Subrecipient to complete the project
contemplated under the Agreement;
WHEREAS, Subrecipient has made a timely request for an additional extension of the
construction compliance and term dates, in order to complete the project contemplated
under the original Agreement and First Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this Second Amendment to further extend the
construction compliance and term dates for the project.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reaffirm and continue in
force all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement and First
Amendment, as may be amended by the execution of this Second Amendment.
Section 2. Section 1, subsection 1.1 of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein now amended by deleting the date "September 30,
2012" and inserting the date "April 30, 2013."
Section 3. Section 7, subsection 7.9 of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein is now amended by deleting the date "September 30,
2012" and inserting the date "April 30, 2013."
Section 4. Section 9, subsection 9.1 of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein now amended by deleting the date "October 31,
2012" and inserting the date "May 31, 2013."
Section 5. Section 9, subsection 9.2, of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein now amended by deleting the date "September 30,
2012" and lC1 prfi- #ha date "April 30, 2013."

Section 6. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
further extend the construction compliance and term dates stated in the Agreement and
First Amendment. All' other terms, conditions, and covenants of the Agreement and
First Amendment, not changed by this Second Amendment remain the same and in full
force and effect.
EXECUTED IN DUPLICATE, each of which is considered an original, on this the
