Corpus Christi, Texas, 78468 - 1349, for and in consideration of the sum of One and
No /100 Dollar ($1.00) paid by the City of Corpus Christi, a Texas home -rule municipal
corporation ( "Grantee "), whose address is 1201 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas,
78401, the receipt of which is acknowledged, has granted, sold, and conveyed and by
these presents does grant, sell, and convey to the Grantee, its successors, legal
representatives, permitted assigns and franchisees, the free and uninterrupted use,
liberty, privilege, and easement of going in, on, over, under, and along a certain tract of
land situated in Nueces County, Texas, and being described as follows:
Field note description of a 5.00 foot wide utility easement over and across
portions of Lot 2 , L & L Subdivision, as shown on the map recorded in
Volume 67, Page 545, Official Deed and Map Records of Nueces County,
Texas, which description is attached to and incorporated in this document
as "Exhibit A" and depicted on the location map attached ' to and
incorporated in this document as "Exhibit B," the exhibits collectively being
referred to and known as the "Premises."
Together with the free ingress, egress, and regress to and for the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas, all for the purpose of erecting, constructing, installing, laying, replacing,
servicing, repairing, using, maintaining, inspecting, reconstructing, modifying, removing,
operating and keeping utility lines in, on, over, under, and along the Premises, including
but not limited to water, wastewater, storm water, storm water detention, filtration,
drainage, and gas, and together with all lines, pipes, conduits, and other equipment,
improvements, and appurtenances used in the supply and provision of public utilities.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the rights and privileges as described above
to the Grantee, its successors, legal representatives, permitted assigns, and
franchisees, for the proper use as a utility easement and for so long as used for such
purposes and, if the use of said utility easement be ever abandoned, then, in that event,
the aforesaid rights and privileges shall cease.

Fieldnotes for a 5.00 foot wide utility easement out of Lot 2, L & L Subdivision, a map of which is
recorded in Volume 67, Page 545, Map Records ofNueces County, Texas; said utility easement being n1or fully
described by metes and bounds, as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west boundary of an existing 5.00 foot wide utility easement as shown on the
recorded plat of said Lot 2, same being on the northeast boundary of Lot 1, L.&L. Subdivision, a map of which is
recorded in Volume 59, Page 65, Map Records of Nueces County, Texas also being on the southwest bount o f
said Lot 2, from which point of beginning, a found 518 inch iron rod bears South 61 0 02'35" East, 4.78 feet and th
east corner of said Lot 1, same being the south corner of said Lot 2 bears South 61 °02'35" East, 5.00 feet;
Thence, North 61 °02'35" West, along the common boundary of said Lots 1 and 2, a distance of 5.04 feet
for the west comer of this easement;
Thence, North 28 °56' 50" East, parallel to the west boundary of said existing 5.00 foot wide utilit
easement and 5 A0 feet distant there from, measured at right angles thereto, a distance of 655.91 feet to a point on
an existing utility easement and for the north corner of this easement;
Thence, South 61 10" East, along said existing utility easement, a distance of 5.00 feet to a poi vn the
west boundary of the aforementioned 5.00 foot wide utility easement for the east corner of this easement;
Thence, South 28 °56'50" West, along said west boundary of the existing.5.00 foot wide utility easement, a
distance of 655.91 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 0.075 Acres (3,279.55 square feet) of land,
Bearings based on the recorded plat of Lot 2, L & L Subdivision, a map of which is recorded in Volume 67,
Page 545, Map Records of Nueces County, Texas. No monumentation was found or set at property corm Mess
otherwise noted.
