In the Original Contract, Exhibit "K, Section 1. Scope of Services, Part B. Additional Services shall be
amended to include Item No. 11 Traffic Sitanals Improvements as set forth in the attached Amendment
No. 3, Exhibit "A ".
In the Original Contract, Exhibit "AA, Section 3. Fees, Part C. Summary of Fees shall be modified and is
attached as Amend No. 3 Exhibit "B" for a fee not to exceed $9,832.00 (Nine Thousand Eight Hundred
Thirty Two Dollars and Zero Cents ) for a total restated fee not to exceed 11 x 621,599.00 (One Million Six
Hundred Twenbf One Thousand Five Hundred Ninft Nine Dollars and Zero Cents). Monthly invoices
will be submitted in accordance with Exhibit "Cu.
All other terms and conditions of the August 30, 2011 contract between the City and Engineer, and of any
amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Amendment No. 3 -- Signalization Design
Dear Mr. Biles:
Please allow this letter to serve as our formal request to amend our Contract to include Additional Professional
Services as detailed .in the attachments for the above referenced project. This amendment consists of providing
a signalization design at the two main intersection of the project. The fee for the additional services included in
this amendment is $9,832. This brings our total revised contract amount to $1.,621,599.

Signal!w2a Design Services
The A/E will:
a) Prepare signalization plans, specffications, and estimate (P,S, &E) for the traffic signal and
pedestrian signal improvements at
1. Holly Road at Greenwood Drive, two (2) signals on the east side of
Greenwood Drive.
2. Holy Road at SH 286, two (2) signals on the west side of SH 286.
b) Conduct a site visit at both locations.
c) Plans will be developed using the City of Corpus Christi design criteria in TxDOT format,
utilizing TxDOT standards, bid codes, and descriplions.
d) Cost estimate will be per each signal, and will be Include in the Engineer's Estimate of
Probable Costs.
a) Provide Quality Assuranoe/Quality Control (QA/QC) measures to ensure that submittal of
the pre -final and final complete plans and complete bid documents with speclications
accurately reflect the percent completion designated and do not necessitate an excessive
amount of revision and correction by City staff. The Consultant AIE and Sub- consuitarrt
A/E shall submit a letter declaring that all engineering disdplines of all phoses of the
submittals have been chocked, reviewed, and are complete prior to submission, and
include elgnature of all disciplinee including but not 1111mided to structural, civil,
mechanical, electrical, etc.
f) Provide bid phase services.
g) Provide construction phase services.
TIME OF PERFORMANCE
All worts in this Amendment No. 3 will be completed within the design time allotted for the project, as
stated in the revised schedule of Amendment No. 2. approved on October 16, 2012.

b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to
have an effect on that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public

c. "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas either on a full or
part -time basis, but not as an independent contractor.
d. "Firm." Any entity operated for economic gain, w hether professional. industrial or
commercial, and whether established to produce or deal with a product or service, including
but not limited to, entities operated in the form of sole proprietorship, as self- employed
