SECOND AMENDMENT
TO THE
FY10 HOME FUNDING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CORPUS CHRISTI COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION
AND THE
NUECES COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY
This second amendment ( "Second Amendment ") is made by and between the Corpus
Christi Community Improvement Corporation ( "CCCIC ") and the Nueces County
Community Action Agency ("NCCAA").
WHEREAS, the CCCIC and NCCAA executed an agreement ( "Agreement ") on July 7,
2011, for the purpose of utilizing the CCCIC's FY10 -11 HOME Investment Partnerships
Program ( "HOME Program ") funding provided through the City of Corpus Christi;
WHEREAS, the parties subsequently executed an amendment to the Agreement which
revised and extended the dates stated in Sections 2 and 24 of the Agreement ( "First
Amendment "), therein providing further time for Subrecipient to complete the project
contemplated under the Agreement;
WHEREAS, NCCAA has made a timely request for an additional extension of the dates
stated in Sections 2 and 24 of the Agreement, in order to complete the project
contemplated under the original Agreement and First Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this Second Amendment to further extend the
term stated in the Agreement.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reaffirm and continue in
force all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement and First
Amendment, as may be amended by the execution of this Second Amendment.
Section 2. Section 2 of the Agreement, entitled "Agreement Period," is amended by
deleting the date "February 28, 2013" and inserting the date "September 30, 2013."
Section 3. Subsection 24(B), in Section 24 of the Agreement which is entitled "Special
Conditions," is amended by deleting the date "January 31, 2013" and inserting the date
"August 31, 2013."
Section 4. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
further extend the dates stated in Sections 2 and 24 of the Agreement. All other terms,
conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not revised by this Second Amendment
remain the same and in full force and effect.
