TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
CBADRC dba CHARLIE'S PLACE

This second amendment ( "Second Amendment ") is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ( "City ") the Coastal Bend Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation Center, Inc.,
doing business as Charlie's Place ( "Subrecipient ").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ( "Agreement "),
which was approved by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY2010-
11 Community Development Block Grant ( "CDBG ") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the parties subsequently executed an amendment to the Agreement which
extended the term and compliance dates ( "First Amendment"), therein providing
further time for Subrecipient to complete the project contemplated under the Agreement;
WHEREAS, Subrecipient has made a timely request for an additional extension of the
construction term and compliance dates, in order to complete the project contemplated
under the original Agreement and First Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this Second Amendment to further extend the
construction term and compliance dates for the project.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reaffirm and continue in
force all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement and First
Amendment, as may be amended by the execution of this Second Amendment.
Section 2. Section 1, subsection 1.1 of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein now amended by deleting the date "November 30,
2012" and inserting the date "February 28, 2013."
Section 3. Section 7, subsection 7.9 of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein is now amended by deleting the date "November 30,
2012" and inserting the date "February 28, 2013."
Section 4. Section 9, subsection 9.1 of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein now amended by deleting the date "December 31,
2012" and inserting the date "March 31 2013."
Section 5. Section 9, subsection 9.2, of the Agreement, and as subsequently amended
by the First Amendment, is herein now amended by deleting the date "November 30,
2012" and inserting the date "February 28, 2013."
Section 6. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to revise and

First Amendment. All other terms, conditions, and covenants of the Agreement and
First Amendment, not changed by this Second Amendment remain the same and in full
force and effect.
