O. Box 9277 Corpus Christi, Texas 78469-9277 Attn: Mr. Dan Biles, P.E. Re: International Boulevard Improvements—Project E12137 Amendment No. 1—Overhead Sign Relocation Analysis Dear Mr. Biles: In our coordination meeting held on July 18, 2013 it was confirmed by staff at Corpus Christi International Airport ("CC1A") and City of Corpus Christi ("City") that the Dept. of Aviation funds of$187,500 were available for the above project improvements. CCIA would like to use this amount towards the relocation of the existing overhead guide signs entering and exiting the Airport. The "Overhead Sign Relocation Analysis" was an additional service item listed in the agreement with a fee to be determined, "TBD", once the availability of the Aviation funds were confirmed. This analysis would determine the feasibility of moving both the existing overhead signs on the loop road further back onto International Drive. In this analysis an opinion of probable cost would be prepared for moving the signs, adding new signage, and re-routing electrical and control systems to the new locations. The analysis would not include preparing plans and specifications for construction. Since the fund allocation has been confirmed and the analysis will be needed, we propose to amend the contract to include the fee amount for this analysis which totals $6,260.00. RVE, Inc appreciates the opportunity to provide this service to you and looks forward to assisting you again.
