AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "City", and AGICM, INC., agree to the following amendment
to the Contract for Engineering Services for O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant Electrical Distribution
Improvements (Project No. 8603), as authorized and administratively amended by:
Original Contract August 30, 2011 Motion No. M2011-192 $261,018.00
EXHIBIT "A", SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended to include the extended construction
inspection and management services as described in Amendment No. 1 Exhibit "A".
Exhibit "A", SECTION 2. FEES shall be amended and is attached as Amendment No. 1 Exhibit "A" for a revised
fee not to exceed $20,496.00 (Twenty Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Six Dollars and Zero Cents), for a
total restated fee not to exceed $281,514.00 (Two Hundred Eighty-One Thousand Five Hundred Fourteen
Dollars and Zero Cents). Monthly invoices shall be submitted in accordance with the attached Amendment No.
1 Exhibit "B".
All other terms and conditions of August 30, 2011 contract between the City and AGICM, INC. will remain in full
force and effect.

Dear Mr.Biles:
AGICM, Inc. has been providing Construction Inspection/Management Services for the O.N.
Stevens Electrical Distribution Improvements Project.
Due to the change in the length of our scope of services which caused additional meetings and
hours spent inspecting which in turn caused additional hours to be provided,we are asking for
additional compensation as follows:
Contract Amount $261,018
Addendum No. 01 $20.496
Total Revised Contract $281,514

DEFINITIONS

a. "Board member." A member of any board, commission, or committee appointed by the
City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,Texas.
b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to
have an effect on that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public
• in general or a substantial segment thereof.
c. "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi,Texas either on a full or
part-time basis,but not as an independent contractor.
d. "Finn." Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or
commercial,and whether established to produce or deal with a product or service, including
but not limited to, entities operated in the form of sole proprietorship, as self-employed
person,partnership,corporation,joint stock company,joint venture,receivership or trust,and
entities which for purposes of taxation are treated as non-profit organizations.
e. "Official." The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager, Deputy City
Manager, Assistant City Managers, Department and Division Heads, and Municipal Court
