The purpose of this letter is to reflect the legal services agreement between the parties for
the above referenced matter, as amended. This will confirm your firm's continued
employment by the City of Corpus Christi to represent the City in the above referenced
matter through the City's current fiscal year (August 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014),
subject to termination at any time in the sole discretion of the City.
As authorized on October 25, 2011, your services for the above referenced matter were
authorized at the hourly rate that you normally bill local government entities, which is
currently $295.00, plus expenses, subject to certification of funds. On August 14, 2012, an
amendment to the legal services agreement was authorized for additional funding for
consultant subcontracts needed to provide technical assistance at hourly rate not to exceed
$300 per hour, plus expenses, subject to certification of funds. In addition, on April 8, 2014,
an amendment to the legal services agreement was authorized for up to $900,000 for
additional technical evaluation of wastewater systems, subject to certification of funds.
Scopes of work are subject to review by the City Attorney and the Assistant City Manager of
Utilities,or their designees.
Please indicate your acceptance by signature below on one of the two originals and return it
to the City Attorney.
