NO. 2 EXHIBIT "A" Page 2 of 4 "-' _ • xa - ",`/) IIllllil'j If)d LL,) Overview The Corpus Christi Environmental and Strategic Initiatives Department is committed to reducing residential water consumption through conservation efforts and focused on developing diversified water resources. In addition, the on-going drought conditions across Texas indicate that, without rainfall in the watersheds for Lake Corpus Christi or Choke Canyon, the City will be entering Drought Stage 2 by mid-Summer. Connecting with and educating the community and regional customers about the importance of conservation continues to be a priority. ESI has developed a communications plan to support enhancing conservation measures to achieve the stated water goals of annual reductions of 1%. In addition, ESI will prepare and/or implement the requirements for a change in the city's conservation plan to help achieve the city's water use goals. Timing and Cost 3DD is available to begin work immediately. This work is anticipated to be completed prior to December, 2014. Cost for this initiative is $37,500. Additional Information Upon acceptance of this proposal, 3DD and the designated contact ESI liaison will establish activities and work plans to achieve desired outcomes.
