Subject: JFK Causeway Area Improvements (Bond Issue 2012), Project No. E12107
Dear Ms. Fudge:
Urban Engineering is requesting a Contract Amendment to provide additional permitting work
associated with the USACE Permit for the subject project. We have received a proposal from
our sub-consultant, HDR, to perform these services. The additional work is for the 4" sewer
force main that during final design has been relocated to a route across the flats and tying into
the existing 6'' force main rather than to the existing shallow manhole near Snoopy's
Restaurant's main entrance. Additionally, the T City gas line that has been added to the project
was not included in our original scope of work. Please call if you have any questions or require
additional information.
Sincer:ly,
