AGREEMENT TO EXTEND THE COMPLETION DEADLINE IN THE INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI AND NUECES COUNTY
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SPORTS FIELD IMPROVEMENTS
Whereas,on January 8, 2013, by Ordinance No.029709 the Corpus Christi City Council authorized the
City Manager or designee to execute an Interlocal Agreement with Nueces County("the County")for
use of Bond 2008 funds for reimbursement of up to$300,000 for improvements to Lyondell Park,
Equistar Park,and Oxychem Park, ("the Agreement");
Whereas,Section 8 of the Agreement provided an original completion date for the improvements of
December 31, 2013;
Whereas,Section 8 of the Agreement also provided that the City Manager may approve extensions to
the completion date;
Whereas,the City Manager approved an extension providing for a new completion date of August 31,
2014;
Whereas,the County has requested an additional extension due to numerous delays;
Now,therefore,the parties agree as follows:
1. The completion date in Section 8 of the Agreement is extended until May 31,2015.
2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in effect. This Amendment takes effect
upon date of last signature.�
