Acting Director of Capital Programs City of Corpus Christi P. O. Box 9277 Corpus Christi, Texas 78469 Subject: Laguna Madre WWTP 2013 Improvements City Project No. E10048 Dear Natasha: The scope of the subject project involves rehabilitation and/or replacement of existing equipment and structures at the Laguna Madre VWVTP including a new electrical control room. The original scope did not include improvements to the SCADA system at the plant. The existing SCADA control panel is having issues due to its age and condition, plus it is not connected to all the critical systems of the plant. We have been requested to include in this project improvements to the SCADA system. This work involves a new SCADA panel and connection to all existing and new critical components for monitoring by the City. We request that our present AE contract be amended by$18,334 to add the engineering services to accomplish this additional work. A breakdown of the requested fee is attached. Please review and let me know should you have any questions or comments. Sincerely, URBAN ENGINEERING ►,c GA Mark Maroney, P. E.
