RE: Repairs, Upgrades, and improvements to the HEB and Al Kruse Tennis Centers; City of
Corpus Christi(Project#E12118).—Additional Services
Dear Jamie,
We have reviewed the scope necessary to repair the existing courts 1, 2 & 3 at the HEB Tennis
Center. In order to repair the existing tennis courts we propose to design a structural slab
supported by drill piers, The slab will have void boxes to allow for vertical movement of soil. The
approximate area of the slab is 18,000 sq. ft. and our opinion of probable construction cost is
approximately$388,440.00. Based on the scope of work outlined above we propose to provide
additional A/E services for a fee in the amount of twenty two-thousand dollars ($22,000.00). The
fee will be scheduled as follows:
Basic Additional Services Fees
1. Preliminary Phase(25%) 55,500.00
2. Design Phase(55%) $12,100.00
3. Bid Phase(5%) $1,100.00
4. Construction Administration Phase(15%) $3,300.00
Subtotal Additional Basic Services Fees $22,000.00
Sincerely,
CLK Architects&Associates, Inc.
