Stevens Raw Water Influent Improvements (Plan and Specification Preparation for Typical Repair Details) Project No. 8643 Project Description and Task List: The recent drought and a subsequent large rainfall event have damaged the embankment that forms the Presedimentation Basin at O.N. Stevens WTP such that repairs are required. The City has previously bid this work to small contractors but has not received any bids. Since that time, the erosion has continued, and specific repair methods are recommended to insure the integrity of the embankment that forms this critical infrastructure. In addition, it is anticipated that typical repair details will insure that repairs performed by City forces or small contractors will be better understood during bidding and better executed during construction with these guidance documents.
