CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI AMENDMENT NO. 2 CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "City", and LNV, Inc. hereinafter called "Engineer", agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Engineering Services for Navigation Boulevard from Up River Road to Leopard Street (Project No. E12090) BOND 2012, as authorized and administratively amended by: Original Contract January 29, 2013 Motion No. M2013-012 $792,350.00 Amendment No. 1 July 29, 2014 Ordinance No. 030241 $269,818.00 In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services, Part A. Basic Services, Item No. 2. Design Phase shall be amended as set forth in the attached AMD No. 2 Exhibit "A". In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section III. Fees, Summary of Fees shall be amended as per the attached AMD No. 2 Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $24,889.00 (Twenty Four Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Nine Dollars Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed $1,087,057.00 (One Million Eighty Seven Thousand Fifty Seven Dollars and Zero Cents). Monthly invoice will be submitted in accordance with Exhibit "B". All other terms and conditions of the January 29, 2013 contract between the City and Engineer, and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect. This amendment request was previously issued as Amendment No.4. All previously issued amendment requests for this work should be disregarded. SCOPE OF SERVICES Revise the plans,specifications and front-end contract documents to include a 24-inch diameter wastewater effluent force main for the length of the project, to be bid as an additive alternate. This contract amendment includes Design Phase services only. SCHEDULE The project design schedule will not be extended. FEES The lump sum fee for these design phase services is$24,889. A member of any board, commission, or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,Texas. b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to have an effect on that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public in general or a substantial segment thereof. c. "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi,Texas either on a full or part-time basis,but not as an independent contractor. d. "Firm."
