HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2015-119 - 1/19/2015 - NA • AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY",and FREESE AND NICHOLS,INC., hereinafter called "CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment(s)to the Contract for Engineering Services for Ocean Drive from Buford Street to Louisiana Avenue (Project No. E12093) Bond 2012, as authorized and administratively amended by: Original Contract January 29, 2013 Motion No. 2013-015 $855,969.00 In the original contract, Exhibit"A",Section I.Scope of Services, Part A. Basic Services shall be modified by the addition of the following scope as shown on Exhibit "A": Basic Services: Design Phase 1. Prepare preliminary plans and draft exhibits to extend the project limit of Ocean Drive approximately 1,000 LF and include intersection improvements at Louisiana Ave. and Ocean Drive. Preliminary tasks include preparation of exhibits for a roundabout intersection, evaluation of underground utilities and local drainage improvements, and three (3) additional meetings with the City. 2. Provide storm drainage coordination for the future storm water improvements(Bond 2014)to be installed at the intersection of Morgan Avenue and Ocean Drive. Design of the storm water line on Morgan Ave. will be provided by others and incorporated into the Ocean Drive drawings. Conduct two (2) additional meetings with City staff and consultants to coordinate planned improvements. Additional design of the outfall to Corpus Christi Bay is not included in this scope. In the original contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services, Part B. Additional Services shall be modified by the addition of the following scope as shown on Exhibit"A": Additional Services: Topographic Survey 1. Perform additional topographic survey to extend the project limits south and west of the Louisiana intersection. Subsurface Utility Investigation 2. Perform televising of existing storm drainage lines at the following locations: a. Morgan Avenue—48" RCP Drop MH to Outfall (550 LF) b. Ayers Street— 18" RCP Curb Inlet to Outfall (705 LF) c.
