Scope of Services, Part A. Basic Services, shall be amended to include a memorandum detailing recommendations for operating the Mary Rhodes Phase 2 pump stations and addressing the available capacity in the Mary Rhodes Phase 1 system as specified in Amendment No. 13 Exhibit "A". Exhibit "A", Section III. Fees, shall be modified as specified in Amendment No. 13 Exhibit "A" for a revised fee not to exceed $36,487.00 (Thirty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed $15,435,275.00 (Fifteen Million Four Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars and Zero Cents). Monthly invoices shall be submitted in accordance with Exhibit "B". BASIC SERVICES Provide the City of Corpus Christi with a memorandum outlining the recommendations for operating the Mary Rhodes Phase 2 pump stations. Basic services included in this amendment are as follows: 1. Kick-Off meeting: FNI will hold a kick-off meeting with the City of Corpus Christi (City) in Corpus Christi to establish operational criteria. Possible criteria include: a. Flow rates. b. Flow durations and schedules. c. Operation and Maintenance practices and preventative maintenance and testing schedules from the O&M Manuals and manufacturer/industry requirements. 2. Exercising and Operational Plan: FNI will prepare an operational plan that will include: a. A schedule and bar chart of activities. b. A description of each activity that outlines a step by step procedure for completing the activity. c. A checklist for each activity that will assist in identifying proper functioning or potential issues. 3. Technical Memorandum: FNI will prepare one technical memorandum outlining primary assumptions, identifying major decisions that the Owner will make, and providing FNI's recommendations on those decisions. The exercising and operational plan (item #2 above) will be included in this memorandum. FNI will provide a draft in PDF format. FNI will provide three final copies in three-ring binders accompanied with CDs containing electronic copies. FNI will also address the available capacity in the Mary Rhodes Phase 1 system in this memorandum. 4. Meetings and Communications: FNI will attend up to two meetings in Corpus Christi with the City to discuss the project, coordination items, completed tasks, and upcoming tasks. B. The City will pay the NE a fixed fee for providing for all"Basic Services" authorized as per the table below. The fees for Basic Services will not exceed those identified and will be full and total compensation for all services outlined in Section I.A.1-4 above, and for all expenses incurred in performing these services. The fee for this project is subject to the availability of funds. The Engineer may be directed to suspend work pending receipt and appropriation of funds. For services provided in Section I.A.1-4, NE will submit monthly statements for basic services rendered. In Section I.A.1-3,the statement will be based upon A/E's estimate(and with City's concurrence)of the proportion of the total services actually completed at the time of billing. For services provided in Section I.A.4, the statement will be based upon the percent of completion of the construction contract. City will make prompt monthly payments in response to A/E's monthly statements. B. Fee for Additional Services. For services authorized by the Director of Engineering Services under Section I.B.
