FIRST AMENDMENT
TO THE
ESG 2014-2015 SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
CATHOLIC CHARITIES
This first amendment ("First Amendment") is made by and between the City of Corpus
Christi ("City") and Catholic Charities ("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ("Agreement"),
which was approved by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY2014-
15 Emergency Solutions Grant ("ESG") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the Subrecipient will receive additional unexpended ESG funds and will be
granted an extension of the compliance and term dates in order to complete the project
contemplated under the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this First Amendment to express their mutual
desire to reaffirm all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement
and to extend the compliance and term dates of the Agreement.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reaffirm and continue in
force all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement, as may be
amended by the execution of this First Amendment.
Section 2. Section 1, subsection 1.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
amount "$25,000," and inserting the amount "$36,827.49."
Section 3. Section 1, subsection 1.2, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
amount "$25,000," and inserting the amount "$36,827.49."
Section 4. Section 3, subsection 3.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the date
"September 30, 2015," and inserting the date "March 31, 2016."
Section 5. By execution of this First Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
extend the compliance and term dates stated in the original Agreement. All other terms,
conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not changed by this First Amendment
remain the same and in full force and effect.
