CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI AMENDMENT NO. 1 CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "City", and Ch2M Hill Engineers, Inc. hereinafter called "Engineer", agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Engineering Services for Old Robstown Road from State Highway 44 to Leopard Street BOND 2014 (Project No. E13098) as authorized and administratively amended by: Original Contract April 15, 2014 Ordinance No. 030156 $554,390.00 In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services, Part A. Basic Services, Item No. 2. Design Phase shall be amended as set forth in the attached AMD No. 1, Exhibit "A". In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section III. Fees, Summary of Fees shall be modified and is attached as AMD No. 1 Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $43,590.00 (Forty Three Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Dollars Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed $597,980.00 (Five Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars and Zero Cents). Monthly invoice will be submitted in accordance with Exhibit "B". All other terms and conditions of the April 15, 2014 contract between the City and Engineer, and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect. These items are not part of the original contract scope. • The addition of the signalization design for the Up River Road intersection. • The addition of a cycle track design for Old Robstown Road. This Contract Amendment No. 1 includes fees that will be incurred for the inclusion of above listed items. The following are the proposed changes to the original,executed contract. 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES Remaining work on the project is reported and amended as follows: Project Limits Project limits include Old Robstown Road between the north right-of-way of the Tex-Mex Railroad (excludes the Tex-Mex Railroad and SH 44 right-of-way) and the south right-of-way of Leopard Street (excludes Leopard Street right-of-way). The main portion of the project is approximately 4,600 linear feet in length and will exclude the approximately 850 linear feet of parallel, residential access road. Surface improvements include reconstruction of collector roadway consisting of one travel lane in each direction, as well as ADA compliant sidewalks, and traffic signalization. Utility improvements include rehabilitation or construction of new water, wastewater, and storm water system lines and appurtenances.
