AMENDMENT NO. 11
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "CITY," and RVi PLANNING + LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECTURE + GRAPHIC DESIGN,hereinafter called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment
to the Contract for Professional Services for Oso Creek/Oso Bay Area Park Master Plan (Project No. 3380)
as authorized and administratively amended by:

In the Original Contract, Section 2. SCOPE OF WORK shall be modified by:
The addition of Construction Observation Services as specified in Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Section 5. FEE shall be modified by the attached Summary of Fees as shown in the
attached Exhibit A-1 for an additional fee not to exceed $49,500.00 (in figures) Forty Nine Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents (in words) for a total restated fee not to exceed $1,094,999.00 (in figures)
One Million Ninety Four Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Nine Dollars and Zero Cents (in words).
All other terms and conditions of the January 11, 2011 contract between the City and Consultant and of any
amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect.

AMENDMENT TO LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN CONTRACT

This Amendment to Landscape Architectural Design Services Agreement (the

between the City of Corpus Christi ("Client") and RVi ("Consultant").

RECITALS
A. Client and Consultant have entered into that certain Agreement
for Landscape Architectural Design Services for Oso Creek / Oso
Bay Area Park Master Plan dated as of January 11, 2011 (the
"Original Agreement") and desire to amend the Original
Agreement.
B. Except as expressly modified by this Amendment, the Original
Agreement remains unchanged and in full force and effect.
II. AGREEMENT
A. The parties agree that the SCOPE, of the Original Agreement, is
hereby amended by adding the following:
Additional Construction Contract Observation Services
The project construction contract was for one year to be
completed on January 6, 2015. The projected completion date is
undetermined. This contract amendment will include services
through October 30, 2015.
B. The parties agree that the BASIC SERVICES, of the Original
Agreement, is hereby amended by adding the following:
1. Construction Observation Services
a. Additional site observation visits, reports and
submittal reviews.
b. Attend weekly Owner's construction meetings.
C. The parties agree that the COMPENSATION of the Original Agreement, is
hereby amended by adding the following: AUSTIN/HOUSTON
1. Consultant's compensation shall include the total for Basic
Services (the "Basic Fee") and Additional Services AMEND. NO. 11
performed on an hourly basis plus reimbursable expenses. EXHIBIT "A"

Consultant's estimated compensation for Basic Services is
set forth below. The amounts indicated do not include
amounts for Additional Services or resulting from
substantial change in scope of the Project or services, but
will otherwise not be exceeded without authorization
from the Client. The Client agrees to pay the Consultant
the following estimated maximum fees for the Basic
Services. Fees for Basic Services:
Construction Contract Observation $49,500.00
III. APPROVED AND ACCEPTED
This Amendment to Land Planning and/or Landscape Architectural Design
Services Agreement is approved and accepted by the Client and
Consultant upon both parties signing and dating the Amendment, and
returning a signed copy to the Consultant. The effective date of the
Amendment shall be the last date entered below.

DEFINITIONS
a. "Board member." A member of any board, commission, or committee appointed by the
City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,Texas.
b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to
have an effect on that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public
in general or a substantial segment thereof.
c. "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas either on a full or
part-time basis,but not as an independent contractor.
d. "Firm." Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or
commercial, and whether established to produce or deal with a product or service, including
but not limited to, entities operated in the form of sole proprietorship, as self-employed
person, partnership, corporation,joint stock company,joint venture,receivership or trust, and
entities which for purposes of taxation are treated as non-profit organizations.
e. "Official." The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager, Deputy City
Manager, Assistant City Managers, Department and Division Heads, and Municipal Court
Judges of the City of Corpus Christi,Texas.
f. "Ownership Interest." Legal or equitable interest, whether actually or constructively held,
