AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Maverick Engineering,
Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Creekview
Drive Extension (Project No. E15122):

Original Contract August 15, 2015 Administrative Approval 1 $27,414.20
In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No.1, Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Section 3.1 shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $21,997.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed$49,411.20.
All other terms and conditions of the August 15, 2015 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Dear Mr. Hale:
Maverick Engineering, Inc. is pleased to present the following amendment to the contract for design of
additional storm sewer improvements for a total contract amount of$21,997.00. The scope of work
proposed imporvements includes the following items:
1. Preparation of construction drawings for approximately 570 feet of new 30"RCP, inlets
and manholes
a. Design of storm water drainage system including hydrologic calculations,
hydraulic calculations and delineation of a drainage area map
h. Design of traffic control plan
c. Relocation of existing water, wastewater and gas services as necessary
d. Stormwatcr pollution prevention plan
2. Preparation of construction documents(front end documents and specifications)
a. 60%and final submittals
3. Survey
a. Topographic survey of area
Should the City request ay of the services listed above, Maverick Engineering, Inc.will submit another
proposal for amendment to the contract. The fees associated with the scope of work described above are
attached along with a tentative schedule. The schedule will be revised once the Notice to Proceed and
executed contract are received.
