AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Naismith Engineering,
Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for South Staples
Street from Morgan Avenue to IH 37 BOND 2012 (Project No. E12096):
Original Contract January 29, 2013 1 Motion No. M2013-018 I $837,162.50
Amendment No. 1 June 29, 2015 Administrative Approval $11,000.00
Amendment No. 2 December 21, 2015 Administrative Approval $5,000.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Section 3.1 shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $9,600.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed$862,762.50.
All other terms and conditions of the January 29, 2013 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Staples Street— Morgan Avenue to IH 37 (Antelope Street)
COCC Project No. E12096
Dear Mr. Shoemaker:
Enclosed for your review and consideration is the proposed Contract Amendment Three
for the referenced project. The contract amendment adds additional fees for updating
the construction plans for conduit and conductor signal design at Staples Street with
Lipan Street; and providing them to City Staff for review and approval. Once approved,
these signed/sealed modifications will be issued as a Design Revision to be used by
Contractor and the City's Construction Services Department on the project.
We proposed to complete these services at a fee not to exceed $9,600.00 for a total
restated fee of $862,762.50. Included are executed copies of the applicable City
standard forms. We thank you for your consideration and approval. Should you have
