AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Maverick Engineering,
Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Tuloso Road
from Leopard Street to IH 37 BOND 2012 (Project No. El 2094):
Original Contract January 29, 2013 Motion No. 2013-016 $331,322.00
Amendment No. 1 August 27, 2014 Administrative Approval $9,400.00
Amendment No. 2 August 20, 2015 Administrative Approval $8,400.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Section III shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $0.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed $349,122.00.
All other terms and conditions of the January 29, 2013 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Tuloso Road—Leopard to Ill 37 Re-design
Project No.E12094
Dear Mr.Hale:
Maverick Engineering,Inc.would like to request a modification of$69,577 to the Tuloso Road project
for the re-design of the entire project. The re-design is a change in scope that was requested by the City in
order to meet the original Bond 2012 budget. In order to match the revised design parameters,the Bond
2012 language will be modified to reflect the following design scope:
• Two-lane road with left turn lanes at Leopard,Tawakoni and Timberline
• Two 11' travel lanes, 11' left turn lanes,3'-3.5' shoulders
• Asphalt pavement,no cub and gutter
• 1.5"Type D HMAC,2.5"Type B HMAC, 1"Limestone Base, 8"Lime Treated
Subgrade;using 30 year projection
• Existing right-of-way with parcels on north end that have already been purchased by City
• Four way stops at Leopard Street and 11-137 intersections
• Replace 6"water line
• Do not replace wastewater line
• Do not replacement gas line
• Regrade and realign roadside ditches,replace culverts,replace 6'x2' box culver
• 5' sidewalks on both east and west sides of road
• Replace driveways
• No bike lanes
The scope of work includes a 90%and 100%review submittal.The proposed work will require a total of
758 man hours added to the final design phase,bid phase and construction phase.The modifications to
the contract amounts in Exhibit A will be revised as shown below.
