AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and HDR Engineering, Inc.
("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Professional
Services for Development of Water Supply Summary Materials for Stakeholder Presentation (Project No.
E14022):
Original Contract May 23, 2014 Administrative Approval $16,300.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit"A", Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment
No.1, Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Fees shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $33,600.00,for a total restated fee not to exceed$49,900.00.
All other terms and conditions of the May 23, 2014 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

RE: Amendment to Professional Services Agreement (Project No. E14022)for Technical
Water Supply Services to Assist the City of Corpus Christi with Development of City
Council Presentations
Dear Mr. Deng:
HDR Engineering, Inc (HDR) is pleased to present this amendment to Project No E14022
for engagement of technical services to assist with preparation of presentation materials
as requested on April 20, 2016. The work identified in this services agreement is related
to preparation of up to 5 presentations for City Staff presentation to City Council:
• The System (Presentation # 1)
Note: City Staff is currently preparing this document for City Council presentation
on May 10, 2016. Technical support by HDR staff for this presentation is assumed
to be minimal(less than 8 hours).
• Demands and Supplies (Presentation #2 &3)
• Future Supplies (Presentation # 4& 5)
HDR will perform these services for a maximum fee not to exceed $33,600 including
reimburseable expenses. HDR efforts include review of City-provided materials,
development of presentation outline for City Staff consideration, delivery of draft
presentation for City Staff comment, revisions to draft presentation to address City Staff
comments, submittal of final presentation to City Staff, and technical support to City Staff
in preparation for each presentation.
Fees invoiced will be computed by multiplying payroll costs by a multiplier of 2.2, plus
direct expenses (travel, printing, etc.). If additional task orders are requested to exceed
the total amount allocated, then HDR will provide an additional scope as an addendum to
this contract.

All work will be accomplished under the terms approved in the attached original
Professional Services Agreement (Project No. E14022), which includes HDR's Standard
Terms and Conditions for Professional Services, Indemnification and Hold Harmless
Clause language, and the previously signed Disclosure of Interests form. If this proposed
scope of work, fee, and terms and conditions are acceptable, please sign below and return
one copy to Ms. Shaw.
