AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Naismith Engineering,
Inc.("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Gollihar Road
from South Staples Street to Weber Road BOND 2014(Project No. El 3087):
Original Contract February 11, 2014 I Ordinance No. 030088 $1,192,395.00

In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit W.
In the Original Contract, Section III shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $44,200.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed
$1,236,595.00.
All other terms and conditions of the February 11, 2014 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

SUBJECT: Contract Amendment One
Gollihar Road — From South Staples to Weber Road
COCC Project No. E13087 (Bond 2014)
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
As requested, enclosed for your review and consideration is the proposed Contract
Amendment One for the referenced project. The contract amendment adds additional
fees for updating the interim review construction plans (60% Submittal): per the MPO
recommendation that bike lanes should not be located within the Gollihar Road travel
lanes (instead they will be placed on a joint use path), and modifying the stormwater
design based on updated standards/requirements provided in the CH2M Hill report (10
YR contained within Curb/Gutter and 25 YR contained within ROW). This will consist of
revising the previously completed and submitted 60% submittal (designed based on the
approved ELR); and providing them to City Staff for review and comments. Also
enclosed is the updated project schedule.
We propose to complete these services at a fee not to exceed $44,200.00 for a total
restated fee of $1,236,595.00. Included are executed copies of the applicable City
standard forms. We thank you for your consideration and approval. Should you have
