AMENDMENT NO. 2
TO CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called"CITY",and Urban Engineering agree to the following
amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for JFK Causeway Area Improvements Bond 2012
(Project No. El 2107), as authorized and amended by:
Original A/E Agreement January 29, 2013 Motion No. M2013-025 $162,520.00
Amendment No. 1 July 22, 2014 Administrative Approved $10,200.00
In the Original Contract, Exhibit "A", Section 1. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the
attached Amendment No. 2, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract, Section III. Fees shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in
the attached Amendment No. 2, Exhibit "A"for a fee not to exceed $6,100.00, for a total restated fee not
to exceed $178,820.00.
All other terms and conditions of the January 29, 2013 contract between the City and Urban Engineering
will remain in full force and effect.

Post-Construction Survey — Roadway Improvements and Utilities Installation
Adjacent to JFK Causeway
A. SCOPE OF SERVICES:
1. Construction of the Snoopy's roadway widening and installation of utilities projects (8-
inch waterline, 2-inch gas line, and 4-inch force main) have been completed. A post-
construction survey of the construction disturbance within the project rights-of-way
(ROW) is required under existing USACE permit SWG-2014-00816. A/E will conduct
a post-construction survey of the roadway widening and utilities installation. Separate
post-construction survey reports will be prepared and submitted to USACE for both
the roadway widening project and utilities improvement project. A/E will coordinate
with USACE in an attempt to obtain approval of the surveys.
2. As per the USACE permit condition, the post-construction letter report will include:
1) a description of the physical habitat in the project area both prior to and after
construction, 2) a description of revegetation types and trends, 3) vegetation/open
water coverage, 4) water depths, 5) noted fish and wildlife use, and 6) photographic
documentation of the project area.
3. This task will include one site visit to the project area to document the vegetative
growth within the construction limits of the permitted project.
B. PERIODS OF SERVICE:
1. A/E will begin work upon acceptance of the proposed Amendment and Notice to
Proceed and will endeavor to complete the tasks listed below within the following
estimated schedules:

Task 1. Site Visit Within 1 week of Notice to Proceed
Task 2. Report Preparation Within 2 weeks of Notice to Proceed
Task 3. Coordination with USACE On-going once post-construction reports
are submitted.
C. COMPENSATION:
1. A/E will provide these services on a Lump Sum Fee of$6,100.00.
