CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

In the Original Contract, Exhibit A, Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No.18. Exhibit A.
In the Original Contract. Exhibit A, Fees section shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the
attached Amendment No. 18, Exhibit A for a fee not to exceed $26,709, for a total restated fee not to exceed
$16,621,183.
All other terms and conditions of the October 28, 2003 Contract for Professional Services between the City and
Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Raw Water Pump Station-Hach plumbing modification design
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
Freese and Nichols,Inc. (FNI) is pleased to submit our contract amendment to provide additional
professional services for the Mary Rhodes Pipeline, Phase 2 project. City of Corpus Christi Engineering's
staff has requested a modification to the water supply feed for the Hach monitoring system. The
requested modification is for the Hach system to sample water from a constant source before it enters
the pump cans and discharge header. Our man hour summary to prepare the design documents for the
aforementioned improvement is as follows:
• Design site visit(20 hours)
• Design and drafting(110 hours)
• Construction site visit(10 hours)
We will prepare construction plans and specifications to allow for bidding process by Owner.
The fee for the additional services is for the not to exceed fee of$26,709.
