MSA— TASK ORDER 7
This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and
between City of Corpus Christi, Texas(City) and Cobb, Fendley &Associates, Inc. (Consultant)
dated October 18, 2016, for SUE Services E16266 (Agreement). Consultant shall perform
services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in the Agreement.
This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties. Upon
execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project described
below.

3. COMPENSATION
$32,000
This Task Order is approved and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr.Hale,
CobbFendley is pleased to provide this scope and fee estimate for the Subsurface Utility Engineering(SUE)investigation services
associated with the project referenced above.This proposal is based on a site visit and information obtained via email from John
Montalvo,Lockwood Andrews and Newnam(LAN)Inc on 11/1/2017
CobbFendley previously performed SUE Level B on this project.This Level B information assisted LAN to determine possible
utility conflict locations.To help resolve these conflicts,CobbFendley will perform SUE Level A test holes. Test holes will be
performed along Ayers Street from SPID to Gollihar Rd.in locations determined by LAN.
When performing this type of work CobbFendley typically follows ASCE 38-02"The Standard Guidelines for the Collection
and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data." Accordingly,CobbFendley will:
• Perform Level A SUE to obtain utility depth information. This will be accomplished using vacuum excavation to
perform test holes to uncover and measure the depth of the target lines at critical locations,then survey and draft this
data to provide utility elevation information.Due to the need to find nonconductive or previously undetected lines e.g.
non conductive water,or deep fiber optic lines),it is anticipated that hydro vac excavation will be used to perform slot
trenches to search for these utilities.
The cost of this Level A SUE investigation is$32,000
