AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi,Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City')and HDR Engineering, Inc.
("Architect/Engineer — NE"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for
Chaparral Street Phase 2 Downtown Development Master Plan (Protect No. E15107):

Original Contract December 29, 2015 Administrative Approval $49,895
Amendment No. 1 October 25,2016 Motion No. M2016-143 $657649
Amendment No. 2 July 17, 2017 Administrative Approval $3,850
In the Original Contract, Exhibit"A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A'.
In the Original Contract, Section III., shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $5,500,for a total restated fee not to exceed $716,894.
All other terms and conditions of the October 25,2016 Amendment No. 1 to the Contract for Professional Services
between the City and Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Edmonds,
At the request of the City of Corpus Christi Engineering Services, HDR has prepared a contract
amendment for extending public involvement support during the construction phase of
Chaparral St. Phase 2 — Schatzell St. to Taylor St. (Bond 2014) Project No. E15107 through
October 2018.
Public involvement support consists of continued community/stakeholder engagement to include
newsletter updates (bi-weekly), direct communications with downtown stakeholders as needed
and attendance at the monthly DMD board meetings and merchant meetings
In summary, we are requesting an additional lump sum fee amount of$5,500.00 to perform the •
services associated with Amendment 3 to HDR's Chaparral St. Phase 2—Schatzell St. To
Taylor St. (Bond 2014) Project No. E15107 contract. Please feel free to contact us at any time
to discuss as necessary.
