AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING AGREEMENT
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Rock
Engineering & Testing Laboratory. Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the
Construction Materials Testing Agreement for McArdle Road from Nile Drive to Ennis Joslin
BOND 2012 (Project No. E12097) and McArdle Road from Whitaker to Nile Drive (Project No.
El 2098):
Original Contract March 25, 2014 Ordinance No. 030145 $74,850.00
•
Amendment No. 1 September 16, 2016 Administrative Approval $40,000.00
•
Amendment No. 2 March 9, 2017 Administrative Approval $15,000.00
In the Original Contract, Section 2. Scope of Work shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract, Section 3. Fee shall be amended based on the modified scope of services
in the attached Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed $17,352.00,for a total restated
fee not to exceed $147,202.00.
All other terms and conditions of the March 25, 2014 between the City and Consultant, and of any
amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force
and effect.

Dear Mr. Edmonds,
The following Amendment 3 is an amendment to the original contract in the amount of
$17,352 for a total restated fee of$147,202.
The testing went over the estimated budget and, as mentioned in the original proposal
P070816A, "The actual fees invoiced for this project will be based on the actual testing
performed."the following Amendment 3 is submitted for Rock Engineering and Testing Laboratory
to invoice the City of Corpus Christi for the outstanding balance from actual work performed. Our
services are performed on an on-call, as-needed basis at the request of the City of Corpus Christi.
