CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AMENDMENT NO.2 TO
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING AGREEMENT
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Rock
Engineering &Testing Laboratory, Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the
Construction Materials Testing Agreement for NASCC Truck Inspection Staging Area(Prosect No.
El 6280):
Original Contract May 4, 2017 Administrative Approval $5,536.00
Amendment No. 1 June 8, 2018 Administrative Approval $1,659.50
In the Original Contract, Section 2. Scope of Work shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract, Section 3. Fee shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in
the attached Amendment No. 1,Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed$4,000.00,for a total restated fee not
to exceed$11,195.50.
All other terms and conditions of the May 4,2017 Construction Materials Testing Agreement between
the City and Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Edmonds,
The following Amendment 2 is an amendment to the Amended Estimated Testing Budget
P041217A submitted 04/12/2017.
The testing went over the estimated budget and, as mentioned in the original proposal
P041217A, "The actual fees invoiced for this project will be based on the actual testing
performed."the following Amendment 2 is submitted to you so that Rock Engineering and Testing
Laboratory may invoice the City of Corpus Christi for the outstanding balance from actual work
performed. Our services are performed on an on-call, as-needed basis at the request of the City of
Corpus Christi.
The Amended Testing Budget P041217A1 was $7,195.50. The Proposed Amendment 2
Estimated Testing Budget for this project is $11,195.50. A difference of$4,000.00.
