AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING AGREEMENT
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City') and Rock
Engineering & Testina Laboratory. Inc. ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the
Construction Materials Testing Agreement for Elevated Water Storage Tanks ACR Implementation,
Phase 2(Project No. E110121:
Original Contract April 19, 2016 M2016-041 $63,400.00
In the Original Contract, Section 2. Scope of Work shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit"A".
In the Original Contract, Section 3. Fee shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in
the attached Amendment No. 1, Exhibit"A"for a fee not to exceed$14.000.00,for a total restated fee
not to exceed $77.400.00.
All other terms and conditions of the April 19,2016 Construction Materials Testing Agreement between
the City and Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Edmonds,
The following Amendment 1 is an amendment to the original Estimated Testing Budget
P021816A.
The testing exceeded the estimated budget and additional testing is needed to complete the
project. Per the original proposal P070816A, "The actual fees invoiced for this project will be
based on the actual testing performed."The following Amendment 1 is submitted to you so that
Rock Engineering and Testing Laboratory may invoice the City of Corpus Christi for the outstanding
balance from actual work performed and continue testing services through the end of the project.
Our services are performed on an on-call, as-needed basis at the request of the City of Corpus
Christi.
The Original Estimated Testing Budget P021816A $63,400.00. The Proposed Amendment 1
Estimated Testing Budget for this project is$77,400.00. A difference of$14,000.00.
