AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "CITY," and Freese and Nichols, Inc.,
hereinafter called "ENGINEER," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional
Services for Allison Basin Wastewater Master Plan Update(Prolect No. E17082) as authorized and
administratively amended by:
Original Contract November 7, 2017 Motion No. M2017-179 $67,450.00
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, EXHIBIT A, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be modified as shown in
the attached Exhibit A.
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, ARTICLE III, COMPENSATION shall be modified as shown in the
attached Exhibit A for a credit amount not to exceed $(8,390.00),for a total restated fee not to exceed
$59,060.00.
All other terms and conditions of the November 7, 2018 contract between the"CITY"and "ENGINEER"
and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

Re: Allison Basin Wastewater Master Plan Update

Dear Ms.Alaniz,
Freese and Nichols,Inc.is pleased to submit this proposal to amend the above referenced contract. Below
is a scope of services to be included in the Contract Amendment.
1. Digitize Previous Improvements: FNI will digitize and incorporate improvements identified in the 2004
Allison Basin Wastewater Master Plan into the mapping database. Only improvements from Sheets
2, 3, 5, 6,and 7 will be incorporated.
2. Prepare Draft Exhibit: FNI will prepare updated map to show all proposed improvements from Sheets
2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, on a single map. Improvements from the current FNI study will be shown as well as
the previous improvements developed in the 2004 Allison Basin Wastewater Master Plan.
3. Attend Conference Calls: FNI will be available for two conference calls to discuss the revised mapping.
FNI will solicit comments on the draft exhibit so changes can be incorporated into the final deliverable.
4. Prepare Final Exhibit: FNI will revised the map based on comments from the City and provide an
electronic PDF copy of the final exhibit.
Freese and Nichols, Inc. proposes to perform the scope of services listed above for the lump-sum fee of Five
Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars($5,160). This amendment will replace the original allowance for Special
Services, resulting in a net decrease to the total contract amount as shown in the table below:
Basic Services Fees
A. Basic Services $53,900.00
B. Special Services $13,550.00
C. Amendment#1—removal of Special Services ($13,550.00)
C. Amendment#1—additional Scope of Services $5,160.00
Total Authorized Fee $59,060.00
