This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and between City of
Corpus Christi, Texas (City) and "Bath Engineering" (Consultant) dated October 23, 2018 (Agreement).
Consultant shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in the
Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties. Upon
execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project described below.
TASK ORDER NO.: 1
PROJECT NAME: E15160 -ONS Water Treatment Plant(WTP) Electrical Distribution Improvements
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION - This project provides the Water Utility Department with on-call services to
assist with addressing ongoing and future maintenance and CIP impending electrical infrastructure
improvements at existing water treatment and distribution facilities.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES- O. N. Stevens Electrical Distribution System Assessment, more fully described
in Exhibit A.
3. COMPENSATION -The total amount not to exceed for Task Order No. 1 only is $24,000.00
This Task Order is approved and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement
remain in full force and effect.

BACKGROUND
The City of Corpus Christi operates one(1)water treatment plant,O.N.Stevens Water Treatment Plant,
which is rated for 161.5 million gallons per day(MGD). This plant is the only water plant supplying the
metro area of Corpus Christi,therefore electrical reliability is critical to the mission of delivering water.
The plant receives power from the local electrical utility,AEP,at 69KV which is then transformed to
4160V and distributed by plant owned switchgear and cabling.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Task Authorization is to provide the City Engineering Services an assessment of the
existing facilities and to identify potential opportunities to improve the overall electrical reliability of the
facility. Additionally, high level scopes and estimates would be developed to allow management-level
decisions and to establish priorities for capital expenditures over the next 3 to 5 years.
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Bath Engineers will conduct a workshop with staff and a site walk-through to ascertain the
current condition of the distribution systems.
2. Bath Engineering will develop scopes of work for potential electrical reliability improvement
projects.
3. Bath Engineering will review projects which are underway and planned for synergies and
compatibility with proposed electrical reliability projects.
4. Bath Engineering will work with City Staff to establish priority of the identified projects.
5. Bath Engineering will provide a Draft report for City Review. The City's comments will be
incorporated into the Final Draft. The report shall include but not limited to all findings,
recommendations, potential benefits,cost estimates, and task line items.

SCHEDULE
The services stated in this Task Authorization shall be completed within 60 business days of Notice to
Proceed. The Engineer will be available to perform work immediately upon receipt of the executed Task
Authorization and Notice to Proceed (written or emailed).
FEES
The Engineering Services will be performed on a Time and Material basis as follows:

The consultant shall not exceed authorized amount without explicit written authorization from the City

Authorized expenses (lodging, air travel, reproductions,computer charges, etc.) and Subcontractors shall be charged at
cost plus 10%. Local travel included in billing rate above.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Charges for services shall be referenced to a project number or purchase order as provided by the Client. Invoices shall
be payable to Bath Engineering Corporation in Nueces County, Texas, at 5656 South Staples, Suite 110, Corpus
Christi, Texas, 78411. Payment for all charges shall be Net 30 cash.
