17. Amending prior to second reading the ordinance approving the aquarium
lease, as passed on first reading on February 16, 1988, and the exhibit
thereto, to provide that the City will purchase the aquarium and site from
the Texas State Aquarium Association after construction is substantially
completed; to provide that the Association will obtain interim financing;
to incorporate an exhibit G providing the substantial form of a purchase
agreement; and to make certain other changes and modifications in the
aquarium lease.
