MSA—TASK ORDER 1
This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and
between City of Corpus Christi, Texas (City) and Hanson Professional Services, Inc.
(Consultant)dated December 15, 2015, for On Call Services E15103 (Agreement). Consultant
shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in the
Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties.
Upon execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project
described below.

PROJECT NAME: J.C. Elliott Landfill Leachate Storage Facility Repairs E16338
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The J.C. Elliott Landfill Leachate Storage Facility consists of three 21,000-gallon
fiberglass storage tanks and associated piping, valves and containment that was
constructed in 1996.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
This task will encompass performing an assessment of the existing infrastructure and
preparing a set of bid documents for a small construction contract so that the necessary
repairs can be made. This task will also include construction phase services.
3. COMPENSATION
$12,680
This Task Order is approved and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain in full force and effect.

J.C. ELLIOTT LANDFILL LEACHATE STORAGE FACILITY REPAIRS
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
Thank you for the opportunity to provide the City of Corpus Christi with this proposal for professional
engineering, consulting and related services to address the needs of the Solid Waste Services Department
through the Master Services Agreement (MSA) between Naismith/Hanson Engineering Inc. (NEI) and the
City. This proposal will identify a specific task to be performed under the MSA, providing a brief description
of the task objective and services to be provided. This project is for repairs at the J.C. Elliott leachate
storage facility and includes the following scope and budget:
J.C. Elliott Landfill Leachate Storage Facility Repairs. The Elliott Leachate Storage Facility
consists of three 21,000 gallon fiberglass storage tanks and associated piping, valves and
containment that was constructed in 1996. The piping and valves have fallen into a state of
disrepair and need to be replaced. Preliminary observations of the tanks indicate that they are in
satisfactory condition, but it is suspected that there may be a buildup up sediments/sludge in the
tank bottoms. This task will encompass performing an assessment of the existing infrastructure
and preparing a set of bid documents for a small construction contract so that the necessary
repairs and replacements can be made. This task will also include construction phase services.
Budget for this task is $12,680.
