MSA—TASK ORDER 2
This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and
between City of Corpus Christi, Texas (City) and Hanson Professional Services, Inc.
(Consultant)dated December 15, 2015, for On Call Services E15103 (Agreement). Consultant
shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order and in the
Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties.
Upon execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project
described below.

PROJECT NAME: Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill Pavement Repairs E16337
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill Pavement is failing at the approaches to and from the
scales.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
This task will investigate the pavement failures and make recommendations for repairs.
The investigation will include consultation with Solid Waste staff, site visits, review of
available record drawings, available geotechnical investigations, and available
traffic/scale data. The task will also recommend the gathering of new geotechnical
information in the area of the pavement failures and will provide a scope to the City to
execute through the City's IDIQ program. This task will provide exhibits identifying the
areas to be repaired and provide a recommended pavement sections(s)for the repairs.
3. COMPENSATION
$26,280
This Task Order is approved and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain in full force and effect.

CEFE F. VALENZUELA LANDFILL PAVEMENT REPAIRS
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
Thank you for the opportunity to provide the City of Corpus Christi with this proposal for professional
engineering, consulting and related services to address the needs of the Solid Waste Services Department
through the Master Services Agreement (MSA) between Naismith/Hanson Engineering Inc. (NEI) and the
City. This proposal will identify a specific task to be performed under the MSA, providing a brief description
of the task objective and services to be provided. This project is for pavement repairs at the Cefe F.
Valenzuela landfill facility and includes the following scope and budget:
Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill Pavement Repairs. The pavement at the Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill is
failing at the approaches to and from the scales. NEI will investigate the pavement failures and
make recommendations for repairs to these areas. The pavement failure investigation will include
consultation with Solid Waste staff, site visits, review of available record drawings, available
geotechnical investigations, and available traffic/scale data. We are also recommending the
gathering of new geotechnical information in the area of the pavement failures and will provide a
scope to the City to execute through the City's geotechnical IDIQ program. It is our understanding
that the execution of the repairs will be performed under the City's Minor Street Pavement IDIQ
program with oversight by the Construction Department. NEI will provide exhibits identifying the
areas to be repaired and provide a recommended pavement section(s)for the repairs. Budget for
this task is $26,280.
We look forward to assisting the City and supporting the Solid Waste Services department in their efforts to
provide quality services to the Corpus Christi community. We also value our on-going relationship with the
City of Corpus Christi and appreciate the opportunity to submit this information to you. If you have
