AMENDMENT NO. 1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City") and Munoz
Engineering ("Consultant"), agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional
Services for Harbor Bridge Replacement Mitigation and Support Phase 2 (Project No. El 5101):
Original Contract November 30, 2016 Administrative Approval $2,500.00
In the Original Contract, Article I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Amendment No. 1, Exhibit "A".
In the Original Contract, Article III. Compensation shall be amended based on the modified scope of
services in the attached Amendment No 1 . Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $4.520.00, for a total
restated fee not to exceed $7,020.00.
All other terms and conditions of the November 30, 2016 Contract for Professional Services between
the City and Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed
herein shall remain in full force and effect

Feasibility Assessment for Building Section Removal by Adding a CMU Wall

Gentlemen:
Munoz Engineering, LLC (ME, LLC) is pleased to submit this proposal for engineering and
inspection services. Engineering and Inspection shall be performed in accordance with adopted
design codes for the City of Corpus Christi. ME, LLC proposes to perform said services and all
acts attendant thereto with a reasonable standard of care. Our proposed scope of work is as
follows:
Task Order No.5
Feasibility Assessment for Building Section Removal by Adding a CMU Wall:
• Perform site visit to determine scope of work and required inspection.
• Determination the feasibility of removal to the Northwest end of the building with a
general order of magnitude of construction to convert the building to storage.
o Note: No construction drawings are to be provided.
• Submit a letter report stating the findings and recommendations sealed by a Texas
Licensed Professional Engineer specializing in Structural engineering.
• No Meeting with City or Contractor have been allotted for.
ME, LLC proposes to perform the scope of work for the following lump sum fee:
Engineering Services $ 4,520.00
