MSA—TASK ORDER 4
This Task Order pertains to a Master Services Agreement for Professional Services by and
between City of Corpus Christi, Texas (City) and Hanson Professional Services, Inc.
(Consultant) dated December 15, 2015, for Project No. On Call Services El 5103 (Agreement).
Consultant shall perform services on the project described below as provided in this Task Order
and in the Agreement. This Task Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by
both parties. Upon execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to
the project described below.

PROJECT NAME: Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill Interim Slope Erosion Control
1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is for installation of erosion control measures on sections of the interim
slopes at Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
This task will assess the soil cover and make recommendations for soil preparations and
vegetating of the slopes. This task will also include consulting services for drainage and
erosion management at the landfill in accordance with the Facility's TCEQ MSW permit.
3. COMPENSATION
$40,000
This Task Order is approved and Consultant may proceed. All other terms and conditions of the
Agreement remain in full force and effect.

CEFE F. VALENZUELA LANDFILL INTERIM SLOPE EROSION CONTROL
Dear Mr. Edmonds:
Thank you for the opportunity to provide the City of Corpus Christi with this proposal for
professional engineering, consulting and related services to address the needs of the Solid Waste
Services Department through the Master Services Agreement (MSA) between Hanson
Professional Services, Inc. (Hanson) and the City. This proposal will identify a specific task to be
performed under the MSA, providing a brief description of the task objective and services to be
provided. This project is for installation of erosion control measures on sections of the interim
slopes at the Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill facility and includes the following scope and budget:
Cefe F. Valenzuela Landfill Interim Slope Erosion Control. There are several areas at the
landfill that have been filled to grade with solid waste and have had interim soil cover
applied. The City would like to vegetate these slopes in order to minimize erosion and
maintenance until these areas are modified in the future and/or undergo final closure
activities. Hanson will assist the City in assessing the soil cover in these areas and making
recommendations for soil preparation and vegetating of the slopes. We will assist the City
with preparing a scope of work for erosion control to be executed through the City's
procurement department and provide assistance during the execution of the erosion control
contract This task will also include consulting services regarding assessment and
recommendations for drainage and erosion management at the landfill in accordance with
the facility's TCEQ MSW permit. This task will be performed on a time and materials basis
for an amount not to exceed $40,000.00.
