AMENDMENT NO.1
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation ("City")and Govind Development,
LLC.("Consultant"),agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Corona drive
from Flynn Parkway to Everhart Road BOND 2014(Prolect No.E13091):
Original Contract February 18, 2014 Ordinance No.030096 $546,986
In the Original Contract, Exhibit"A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth In the attached
Amendment No. 1,Exhibit A .
In the Original Contract,Section III. Fees shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment No. 1,Exhibit
"A"for a fee not to exceed$16,870,for a total restated fee not to exceed$563,856.
All other terms and conditions of the February 18,2014 Contract for Engineering Design Services between the City
and Consultant,and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in
full force and effect.

RE: Corona Drive from Tiger Lane to Everhart Road—BOND 2014 (City Project No. E13091)
Engineering Design Change Proposal—Island Gate Way (Access Road) (Amendment No. 1)
Dear Mr. Edmonds,
On February 21, 2014 the City of Corpus Christi City Council executed a contract for engineering services
with Govind Development, LLC (GDL) for Corona Drive Improvements — Flynn Pkwy to Everhart (City
Project No. E13091). The scope of the project includes rehabilitation of Corona Drive with a full depth
pavement reconstruction, curb and gutter, sidewalks, Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) bus stop
rehabilitation, bike lanes, illumination and traffic signals.
City Engineering staff have reached out to GDL to perform additional work by providing a detailed
design for a new access road (Island Gate Way) to Island Gate Plaza from Corona Drive. We are in receipt
of a preliminary layout (2008) and have based our design and engineering requirements for the new
road on this layout.
GDL proposes to perform the engineering services in Amendment No. 1 for a lump sum amount of
$16,870. The fee increase to the current contract includes engineering and design services associated
with the new access road design. A breakdown of the sheets to be added and the hours of effort are
detailed below:

• DEMOLITION PLAN • STRIPING/SIGNAGE PLAN
